Mission
The AOK Network is a community-based collaboration that is committed to developing a high-quality, well-coordinated, easily-accessible system of care that will promote positive growth and development for children 0-5 and their families. The overall goal of the AOK Network is to ensure that all children ages 0 to 5 years and their families have the opportunity to receive the services they need.
Network
Partner's Role
Network partners will support each other by facilitating access
to programs, sharing information and removing barriers. Network
partners will provide ongoing assessment of services and needs,
along with public education and will enthusiastically promote
the AOK Network - thus establishing community. Partners
include but are not limited to: family members, as well as
representatives from: health, early intervention,
faith-based, mental health, child care, education, human
services, recreation and child development.
Network
Function
Regular meetings are held throughout the year
where network and community partners gather to discuss how to
better serve families in our community. By attending AOK
Network meetings and taking an active role in identified AOK
work groups, partners help the community build a
well-coordinated, easily accessible system that cares about and
promotes positive growth and development of the very young child
and their families.
Creating
the Future through Collaboration
In order for kids to start off healthy in life, families need
strong communities where everyone is working together toward
common goals for young children.
