The

circuits. Adams County is part of the Eighth Judicial Circuit along
with 7 other counties. The Eighth Circuit covers a large
geographical area stretching from Calhoun County on the Southern
end, Adams County on the Western end, Menard County on the Eastern
end, and Mason County on the Northern end. The Circuit population is
146,453. The Eighth Judicial Circuit is part of the Fourth Appellate
Court District.
