Monday through Friday
The Adams County Health
Department Dental Clinic provides dental care to eligible
children ages 2 - 20 and eligible adults in Adams County.
Written parental consent is required for all children needing
treatment.
Care is provided by 6
dentists, a hygienist and many dental assistants. Basic services
include exams, cleanings, fluoride treatment, sealants, x-rays,
fillings and extractions.
To use the services of the
clinic, you must meet financial criteria. A Medicaid card
or proof of income is required after the first visit. Income
verification is renewed every 6 months. Minimal fees are charged
for non-public aid clients. Non-public aid families with
children may receive assistance with fees through a limited
Adams County Health Department grant.
Appointments are required and can be made by calling the clinic at 217-222-8440. All appointments must be cancelled 24 hours prior to the scheduled date and time. Appointments not cancelled within 24 hours may result in suspension from the clinic for one year.
