Emergency Preparedness
Emergency preparedness and response to public health emergencies
is among Adams County Health Department's most pressing
responsibilities, and the Emergency Preparedness section's role
is for planning, training for, preventing and mitigating any
public health emergency in Adams County. The Emergency
Preparedness section will play a key role in managing Adams
County Health Department's internal response to public health
emergencies and ensuring that the Health Department can continue
essential operations during emergency situations.
Adams County Health Department partners with many governmental
and private partners within the community to ensure that our
response to any public health emergency is coordinated for the
most effective use of resources and most thorough management of
the emergency.
