History of Adams County Complete Section (62 Pages)

 

We start this historical collection with a small excerpt from the book “Past and Present of the City of Quincy and Adams County, Illinois” by Hon. William H. Collins and Mr. Cicero F. Perry (Illustrated).  This book was printed by the S.J. Clarke Publishing Company in 1905.  The original book is 1124 pages in length.

 

We have scanned the section of this book on the history of Adams County (62 pages).  Some web sites offer sections from these historical books, scanned as an image.  The user must read all pages to find a name of their descendants.  Adams County has scanned this section using Character Recognition Software (OCR).  This enables the user to search the document for a particular name or phrase. The document is an Adobe PDF.
