Fee Information - Fees to serve a summons are based on the number of miles from the courthouse.  This link will show you the fees to serve papers in Adams county.

 

The Adams County Sheriff’s Department civil division is open during normal business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday to serve the public. We are located at the Adams County Sheriff’s Department.

 

Papers for service are brought into the Sheriff’s Department by courier delivery, U.S. Mail, the filing attorney or the plaintiff/petitioner.
