    The Adams County Treasurer’s Office contains the County’s records regarding property ownership, the party responsible for paying taxes, the amount of tax due for property within Adams County and property tax collection information. Duplicate copies of property tax bills are also stored within the Tax Records Department. The records maintained within the Tax Records Department serve as a resource for attorneys, realtors, abstractors, property owners and other interested individuals.  The tax records contained within the Tax Records Department and the Adams County Courthouse are considered public information.  Also available are historical Adams County Tax Records, which are stored at Gardner Museum of Architecture and Design.  These include:
